Carla Giaudrone is Associate Professor of Spanish at the Department of World Languages and Cultures and the co-director of the Global Studies programs at Rutgers-Camden. She holds a PhD in Hispanic literature from New York University, with a specialization in late 19thcentury and 20thcentury Latin American literature and culture. Research areas include Hispanic modernismo, queer and gender studies, visual culture, memory and commemoration, affect theory, and landscape and geographical imagination.
